Carbide Grades

General Purpose (GP): Used for man-made material and natural woods. Most common grade in the industry.
Natural Wood (NW): All natural wood applications including hard and softwoods
HI Natural Wood (HNW): High impact applications such as knots found in natural wood.
Man-Made Material (MM): Composite materials such as MDF, particle board, plywood, etc.

New Inserts for Universal Heads

When ordering inserts with a “New” profile for a head
NAP Gladu did not manufacture please provide:
- Head Diameter
- Hook Angle of the head
- Manufacturer of the cutter head
- Wood Sample or Drawing of the new profile
- A sample Backing Plate that is used in the head.
New Inserts for Dedicated Heads

When ordering inserts with a “New” profile for a head
NAP Gladu did not manufacture please provide:
- An existing insert with the original pattern
- Head Diameter
- Hook Angle of the head
- Manufacturer of the cutter head
- Wood Sample or Drawing of the new profile
- WARNING! Changes to the profile can only
  be small due to the steel body interference.
